Ingredients:

  1. Spread a tablespoon of cream cheese on one side of 4 slices of bread. On 1 side of each remaining 4 slices of bread, spread 2 teaspoons of fruit preserves. Put together the slices with fruit preserve.
  2. In a bowl, using a wire whisk beat the egg substitute with milk and sugar substitute until smooth. Drench sides of each sandwich into the egg mixture.
  3. Coat a griddle with nonstick cooking spray; place the griddle over medium heat. Pan fry the sandwiches for 2 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  4. Put each sandwich on a serving plate and sprinkle tops with 2 teaspoons of slivered almonds. Slice the strawberries in 5 sections vertically from tip to just about a centimeter from the stem. Spread each piece in fanlike fashion and set out in each plate to garnish.
