Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Mix eggs, oil, and sugar well.
  2. Add flour, salt and soda and mix well, , then add vanilla, apples and nuts.
  3. Spread in well-greased/floured tube pan.
  4. Bake at 350 F. 1 hr. or tested done
  5. Remove to rack, while hot, use ice pick to poke holes in cake.
  6. Place topping on hot cake
  7. Cool and carefully remove from pan.
  8. Topping:
  9. Combine in saucepan 1 cup brown sugar, 1/4 cup milk, 1/2 cup margarine.
  10. Bring to a boil and simmer 2-1/2 minutes.
