Ingredients:

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup shortening
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 4 cups flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 cup sour milk or 1 cup cream

Directions:

  1. Cream sugar, shortening, eggs and vanilla.
  2. Then add dry ingredients and milk in small amounts and mix well.
  3. Grease sheets very good.
  4. Drop by tablespoon. Sprinkle with sugar.
  5. Bake at 350 for 10-15 minutes.
