Ingredients:

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 cup margarine
  • 4 tbsp. sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 1/2 cups brown sugar , packed
  • 1 cup coconut
  • 2 cups walnuts
  • pinch of salt

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Cream margarine and sugar.
  3. Add flour and mix till crumbly.
  4. Press into greased 9 x 13 pan.
  5. Bake 5 minutes.
  6. Mix together eggs, brown sugar, coconut, walnuts, baking powder and salt.
  7. Spread over crust in pan.
  8. Bake another 20 minutes.
  9. Cool and cut into squares.
