Ingredients:

  • 1/4 stick butter
  • 1/2 block cream cheese
  • 1 package mushrooms
  • 1 can crab meat
  • dash(es) garlic powder
  • dash(es) salt - optional

Directions:

  1. Remove stems on mushrooms and wash and drain, upside down for caps. Chop bacon into 1/4 inch pieces. Cook bacon and strain grease off. Add butter, cream cheese, good pinch of garlic and salt, drained crab meat, a dash or two of tobasco and stir till blended. Add a little heat if needed to blend mixture well. Fill mushroom caps and place on well buttered pan or sheet. Cook on grill or in oven about 350 till top on mushroom is light golden brown. I like to spread the mushroom stems around the pan after I have added the caps to the pan. I sometimes dice the stems and add to mixture that I put into the caps before cooking. NO WASTE.
