Ingredients:

  • 20 fl oz coke
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/4 cup butter or 1/4 cup margarine, melted
  • 2 egg whites , beaten stiff

Directions:

  1. Beat the egg yolks into the cola drink.
  2. Add salt to the flour; stir in the cola and egg and beat well.
  3. Add the melted butter.
  4. Fold in egg whites. Add more cola if needed to make a very thin batter. The secret of good pancakes is thin batter (not over 1/8 inch thick).
  5. Cook on hot griddle, turning only once.
