Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup. brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup. walnuts, chopped (optional)
  • 2 tbsp. flour
  • 2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp. melted butter
  • 1 1/2 cup. flour
  • 1/2 cup. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 cup. cooking oil
  • 1/2 cup. milk

Directions:

  1. Topping: In small bowl, mix (with fork) brown sugar, nuts, 2 tablespoons flour, cinnamon, and butter; set aside.
  2. Mix together remainder of ingredients. Put 1/2 of batter in bottom of 10 to 12 muffin cups. Sprinkle 1/2 of topping mix over batter. Cover with remaining batter. Sprinkle with remainder of topping. Bake at 375 degrees for 20 minutes.
  3. Variation: Add 1 diced apple to batter.
