Chocolate Zucchini Cake

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 1/2 tsp allspice
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 4 tbsp cocoa
  • 1/2-1 cup chocolate chips

Directions:

  1. Cream sugar, butter, and oil together in a large bowl.
  2. Add eggs, vanilla, buttermilk, mix well.
  3. Measure dry ingredients in sifter, sift into bowl.
  4. Mix well, then add zucchini, grating it into bowl.
  5. Stir well until blended.
  6. Pour into greased floured 9x13 pan.
  7. Sprinkle chocolate chips on top and bake 325 for 45 minutes.
  8. Instead of using chocolate chips, the cake can be frosted.
