Ingredients:

  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 cup oil
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 1/2 cup oatmeal

Directions:

  1. Cream together the sugars and butter
  2. Add oil and egg and beat until creamy
  3. Add the salt, baking soda, cream of tartar and flour;combine with creamed mixture.
  4. Blend in oatmeal and cereal.
  5. Chill for a few hours
  6. Bake for 10 to 12 min. at 350*.
  7. Because these cookies are so delicate, they require special care, so be careful when storing them.
