  2. Combine first 4 ingredients in heavy small saucepan.
  3. Stir over low heat until butter melts and sugar dissolves, about 3 minutes.
  4. Increase heat and boil 2 minutes.
  5. Cool completely.
  6. Cake:.
  7. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  8. Grease and flour a 10-cup bundt pan.
  9. Using electric mixer, beat cake mix and next 8 ingredients until well blended, about 3 minutes.
  10. Stir in chocolate chips.
  11. Pour batter into prepared pan.
  12. Bake until toothpick inserted near center comes out with a few moist crumbs attached, about 1 hour.
  13. Immediately spoon glaze over cake in pan. Let cake stand 30 minutes.
  14. Turn cake out onto platter and cool completely.
  15. Sprinkle top with confectioners' sugar and serve.
