CHOCOLATE MAYONNAISE CAKE

Ingredients:

  • 2 cup flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup baking cocoa
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup shortening
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 cup milk

Directions:

  1. For Cake:
  2. Stir together the flour, sugar, baking soda and cocoa. Add the remaining ingredients and mix well. Spread into a greased and floured 13 x 9 inch pan. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes. Cool completely before frosting.
  3. For Frosting:
  4. Mix all ingredients. Beat on high for 15 minutes.
