Ingredients:

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 cups whipped cream
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1-1/3 cup pineapple juice

Directions:

  1. Add 1 cup sugar to whipped cream then slowly fold in fruit juices.
  2. Cut cake lengthwise into 1 thick slices then line bottom of loaf pan.
  3. Layer with cake and whipped cream mixture alternately.
  4. Refrigerate overnight then cut into squares.
  5. Serve in chilled dishes.
  6. Mix cornstarch and sugar together then add juice.
  7. Cook until thickened and chill thoroughly.
  8. Pour sauce over cake squares.
