  1. Bake pie shell. In saucepan,mix cherries (with liquid),sugar and
  2. Cornstarch. Cook stirring constantly, until mixture thickens and
  3. Boils. Boil and stir 1 minute. Stir in butter;cool. Stir in cinnamon
  4. And almond extract.
  5. Slice bananas in layers into baked pie shell. Pour filling over banana slices; chill until set.
