Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 cup coconut
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/4 lb margarine

Directions:

  1. Cake:.
  2. Combine all ingredients and mix well. Pour into 8x12 inch baking pan that is well greased. Bake at 350F for 30 minutes.
  3. Icing:
  4. Heat sugar, margarine and milk to boiling. Stir once. Boil for 7 minutes, add coconut and pecans. Beat until thick and cool. Pour over cake while still in pan. Cut into squares and serve.
