Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. In large, heavy skillet(I use cast iron), cook sausage and red pepper until just done. Don't over brown.
  2. Combine eggs in bowl and beat well.
  3. Add to sausage and peppers and stir quickly while cooking, to create a well mixed scramble.
  4. Remove from heat.
  5. Add green onion, cream cheese and black pepper and mix to melt cheese. See Photo
  6. Place about teaspoon sized amount of filling in the middle of wonton wrapper, then raise corners to create a purse See Photo. Press together to seal.(doesn't have to be completely sealed) See Photo
  7. Carefully drop into hot oil, seam sides up(this will help seal them) and cook for just about 3 minutes, or until golden brown.
  8. Drain on wire rack or paper.
  9. Serve with dipping sauce, if desired
  10. For Dipping Sauce
  11. In small saucepan, combine both ingredients and heat through, mixing well.
