Ingredients:

  • 3 cups sour cream
  • 1 cup butter
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 6 eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 5 cups flour

Directions:

  1. Mix sour cream and baking soda in a bowl, allow to sit and get foamy.
  2. Grease and flour pans, and preheat oven to 350.
  3. Cream butter, sugar and eggs.
  4. Add sour cream mixture, vanilla, salt and bananas, mix well.
  5. Slowly add in flour as you mix.
  6. A 9x5 loaf pan takes about an hour to cook and is done when a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
