Ingredients:

  • 2 tsp oil
  • 1 cup cold beer
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1/3 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp white pepper

Directions:

  1. In a mixing bowl beat egg and oil. Add in beer and blend together, slowly add 1 cup flour and mix into a batter. Let batter rest for 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
  2. Combine the 1/4-cup flour, salt and pepper and lightly coat fresh fish fillet and dip into beer batter, place into hot oil and fry to a golden brown. Drain the hot fry on top of paper towel.
