Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Boil sugar, milk, water, butter, and salt to soft ball stage (234 - 238 F).
  2. Add cherries and dates.
  3. Boil to firm ball stage (245 - 248 F).
  4. Add marshmallows.
  5. Do not stir.
  6. Cool to room temperature.
  7. Add flavoring.
  8. Beat until thick and creamy. Add nuts.
  9. Pour into well-buttered, 9 x13 shallow pan. Cut in squares.
