Ingredients:

  • 1 large baking potato
  • 1 large bay leaf
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 tsp butter , if desired

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. Cut potato almost in half length wise.
  3. Place bay leaf between halves.
  4. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Add butter if using.
  6. Place potato on a square of foil and close tightly.
  7. Place in a 400 F oven for about 40 minutes.
