Ingredients:

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt , optional
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • nuts or chocolate chips , optional

Directions:

  1. Cream marg and sugar.
  2. Add eggs.
  3. Mix.
  4. Add bananas.
  5. I mash them first with a potato masher.
  6. Place flour, baking soda and salt in one bowl.
  7. Place milk, lemon juice, and vanilla in measuring cup.
  8. Alternating between dry and wet ingredients, slowly add to banana mixture.
  9. Mix.
  10. Add nuts or chips at end if you'd like.
  11. Bake in a loaf pan at 350 for 1 hour.
