Great for breakfast or dessert. Very moist. Ingredients:
2 cups flour |
1 teaspoon baking soda |
1/2 teaspoon salt, optional |
1/2 cup margarine, softened |
1 cup sugar |
2 eggs |
4 -5 mashed bananas |
1/3 cup milk |
1 teaspoon lemon juice |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
nuts or chocolate chips, optional |
Directions:
1. Cream marg and sugar. 2. Add eggs. 3. Mix. 4. Add bananas. 5. I mash them first with a potato masher. 6. Place flour, baking soda and salt in one bowl. 7. Place milk, lemon juice, and vanilla in measuring cup. 8. Alternating between dry and wet ingredients, slowly add to banana mixture. 9. Mix. 10. Add nuts or chips at end if you'd like. 11. Bake in a loaf pan at 350 for 1 hour. |
