Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Heat oven to 350.
  2. Grease bottom and sides of square pan with shortening.
  3. Combine all topping ingredients and set aside.
  4. Beat remaining ingredients except apples in large bowl with mixer on low speed 30 seconds.
  5. Beat on medium speed 2 minutes scraping bowl occasionally then stir in apples.
  6. Spread batter in pan then sprinkle with topping and bake 50 minutes.
  7. Cool on wire rack or serve warm.
