Ingredients:

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup nuts
  • 1 cup raisins

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven 325 degrees.
  2. Pour veg oil over sugar and apples.
  3. Let it soak for at least 1 hr.
  4. Add sugar,apple and oil to beaten eggs.
  5. Add soda, salt,cinnamon, allspice and vanilla to flour.
  6. Mix very well with nuts and raisins.
  7. Pour into a greased 10 in.tube pan.
  8. Bake 1 hr and 15 minutes
  9. Now you have a very moist delicious cake
