Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven at 125 F.
  2. Form a crown with the flour and place in the center the oil and See Photo
  3. Egg… add milk and work until you have a soft dough…. Make a ball and cover with film, let the dough rest for at least 30 minutes…. See Photo
  4. Thoroughly flour one side of a large clean dish towel, place the pastry on top and, with your fingers, gently stretch the dough to a large rectangle about 24 x 20 inches; cover with another dish towel and set aside for 5 minutes. See Photo
  5. Spread the chantilly cream, cake crumbs… ( cake crumbs should be added alter the cream)… apple chunks, cranberries, almonds and finally the cinnamon and sugar…
  6. Roll ( as you see in the Picture) , seal borders with egg glaze, brush the strudel with egg glaze and place in a greased baking sheet. See Photo
  7. Bake for 40 – 50 minutes…
  8. Dust Confectioner’s sugar and serve warm with vanilla ice cream and/or cream See Photo
