Almond Poppy Seed Bread

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups flour
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 tbsp poppy seeds
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 3/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 1/2 tsp almond extract
  • 1 1/2 tsp butter flavoring

Directions:

  1. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl; beat 2 minutes at medium speed.
  2. Spoon batter into 2 greased and floured (or well sprayed) loaf pans.
  3. Bake at 350°F for 1 hour or until test done with toothpick.
  4. Cool in pans for 10 minutes, remove from pans and cool completely.
  5. Note: if I can't find the butter flavoring I just use 2 teaspoons of each of the other flavorings.
