Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 cup grand marnier
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped figs
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup slivered almonds , blanch, toasted
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla

Directions:

  1. Simmer first 8 ingredients for 8 minutes. Stir constantly. Add the almonds and vanilla.
