Ingredients:

  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup cornmeal
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper

Directions:

  1. Soak the leels in the buttermilk. While it is soaking, make the flour mixture of the rest of ingredients. Fry in a deep fryer or deep frying pan until crisp & golden. (About 3-6 minutes). Drain on paper towels.
