Ingredients:

  • 2 cup. cashews or peanuts ( if salted , eliminate addit. salt)
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 cup. corn syrup
  • 1/2 - 1 cup. sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 tsp. butter
  • 1 tsp. baking soda

Directions:

  1. Butter cookie sheet.
  2. Put nuts, salt & corn syrup in microwave safe dish & stir.
  3. Cook in microwave on high for 6 min. stiring once at 3 min. Carefully remove and add vanilla & butter.
  4. Put back in microwave for another 1 - 1/2 min. or until golden brown.
  5. Take out of microwave and baking soda. Mixture is very hot!!!!
  6. Stir in baking soda and spread onto buttered cookie sheet to cool for 20 min. or so until cool.
  7. Break and enjoy!
