Sweethearts Butterscotch Pots De Cremes

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Place butterscotch chips and sweetened condensed milk in top of double boiler
  2. Cook over low heat until chips melt, stirring frequently
  3. Add vanilla and rum, stir until blended and very smooth
  4. Remove from heat, cool to lukewarm
  5. In medium sized bowl, whip cream until soft peaks form
  6. Stir about 1/3 cup of the whipped cream into the cooled butterscotch mixture
  7. Mixture will lighten
  8. Then fold remaining whipped cream into the mixture
  9. Divide this between your choice of 6 serving cups
  10. Place in the freezer at least an hour
  11. When serving you may add shaved bittersweet chocolate
  12. Serve cold
  13. This calls for a cup of strong coffee :)
