Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups walnut halves
  • 3/4 cup sugar

Directions:

  1. Stir together walnuts and sugar in a heavy saucepan over medium heat, and cook, stirring constantly, 8 to 10 minutes or until sugar melts and turns golden brown.
  2. Spread mixture in a single layer on lightly greased wax paper; cool. Break into pieces; store in an airtight container up to 3 days.
