Ingredients:

  • 1 medium onion sliced in rings
  • 3 tsp butter
  • 3/4 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 cup milk

Directions:

  1. Butter casserole dish. Lay potaotes, onion, bread crumbs in alternate layers. place crumbs over each layer. add cheese. add salt to milk and pour over top. cook at 400* for 1 hour. bake 30 minutes uncovered. uncover and cook 30 more minutes until brown.
