  1. Pear Bread
  2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9 x5 x3 loaf pan.
  3. Cream together butter and sugar. Beat in eggs and vanilla.
  4. Stir together flour, salt, baking soda, baking powder, and nutmeg.
  5. Add the flour mixture, alternately with the yogurt, to the egg mixture.
  6. Stir in the pears.
  7. Turn batter into prepared loaf pan and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
  8. Strawberry Butter
  9. Put all ingredients into a food processor and process until well combined. Turn off, scrape down the sides and process until smooth.
  10. Place in a serving bowl. chill.
  11. To serve, place strawberry in the center of the butter and garnish with leaves from the mint sprig
  12. Note: You can also form into small balls (about the size of small cherry tomatoes) and serve on bread plates with bread knives.
