Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup milk, heated to 110 f
  • 1 packet yeast or 2 1/2 tsp
  • 2 1/4 cup flour
  • 6 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 eggs

Directions:

  1. Combine milk, yeast, and 1 cup of the flour. Set aside.
  2. In a food processor combine butter, cheese, salt and sugar until combined.
  3. Add eggs, one a time, mixing well after each one.
  4. Add remaining flour and milk/yeast/flour mixture. Pulse until combined, then mix continuously for about 15-20 seconds.
  5. Turn out onto floured board and lightly fold over itself a few times. The dough will be soft and sticky, handle lightly.
  6. Place into well greased 8-9 inch round pan.
  7. Oil top and cover, let rise for about an hour, or until doubled in size.
  8. Bake at 350 for about 40 minutes. Cover top loosely with foil if it starts to get too brown.
