Oven-Barbecued Pork Chops

Ingredients:

  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 cup vinegar
  • 1/4 cup chili sauce
  • 3 tbsp firmly packed brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp dry mustard

Directions:

  1. Sprinkle pork chops with salt and pepper; place in a greased 13- x 9- x 2-inch baking dish, and set aside.
  2. Combine water, vinegar, chili sauce, sugar, and mustard; mix well. Pour sauce over pork chops. Cover and bake at 400° for 1 hour. Uncover and continue baking 30 minutes.
  3. Remove chops to a serving platter. Pour remaining sauce over chops.
