Ingredients:

  • 2 green onions, sliced (if desired)
  • 1 cup slivered almonds
  • 1/3 cup sesame seeds
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 2/3 cup olive oil
  • 1/3 cup vinegar
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 4 tbsp soya sauce

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Tear lettuce into salad bowl.
  3. Add green onions.
  4. Break up noodles from soup mix into medium bowl.
  5. Add almonds, sesame seeds, and melted butter, mixing well.
  6. Arrange mixture on cookie sheet and bake for 20 minutes.
  7. Meanwhile, add remaining ingredients to medium saucepan, heating just until a boil.
  8. Remove from heat, stirring frequently until cool.
  9. Before serving, arrange lettuce in salad bowl or on cookie sheet.
  10. Sprinkle noodle mixture over lettuce.
  11. Pour cooled dressing over noodles and lettuce.
  12. Serve immediately.
