  1. Combine 1 cup cold water, coffee, and egg shells in a large saucepan. Add boiling water; bring to a boil, and cook 4 minutes. Remove from heat; add remaining 1 cup cold water. Allow to stand about 5 minutes. Strain liquid; serve immediately.
