Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup of margarine
  • 1/4 cup of honey
  • 1/2 cup of apple sauce
  • 1 tbsp of brown sugar (optional)
  • 1 eggs
  • 1/2 cup of flour
  • 1 tsp of baking soda
  • 2 tsp of cinnamon
  • 4 cups of rolled oats
  • 1 cup of oats
  • 2 cups of sultanas

Directions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 180 Celsius
  2. Melt the margarine and honey in the microwave for about 1 minute
  3. Add the remaining ingredients except for 1 egg and mix
  4. If the mixture is too dry, add the extra egg
  5. Line a tray with foil and tip mixture onto the tray
  6. Press the mixture down firmly
  7. Bake for 10-15 minutes and then turn
  8. Bake for a further 10 minutes or until golden brown
  9. Let cool, turn out and cut unto about 14 bars
