Ingredients:

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 cup walnuts
  • 1 cup dates
  • 1 cup flour
  • 3 1/2 cups water
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Directions:

  1. Mix together the batter ingredients (You need enough flour to make the batter stiff)
  2. Put the sauce ingredients in a dutch oven pan and bring to a boil.
  3. Remove from heat and spoon batter (clumps)onto the sauce.
  4. Bake at 375 for 45 minute.
