Marbled Black Forest Brownies

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/3 cup flour
  • 1 1/4 cup sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 cup canola oil
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 1/4 cup cocoa
  • 1 tbsp milk
  • 1/3 cup confectioners' sugar

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9 x 13 inch pan.
  2. In a small bowl, beat cream cheese and milk just until smooth. Gradually beat in confectioners' sugar until blended, set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, measure flour, sugar, oil, cocoa, vanilla, salt and eggs. Mix ingredients just until blended. Spread brownie batter evenly into prepared pan. Drop teaspoonfuls of cream cheese mixture on top of brownie batter. Using a metal spatula, swirl mixture together to crate a marble design.
  4. Bake 20 min. Remove pan from oven, spread cherry pie filling over brownies. Return brownies to oven and bake 10 minutes longer. Cool brownies in pan.
  5. In a 1 quart saucepan over low heat, melt chocolate chips and drizzle over pie filling. Refrigerate until chocolate sets and then cut into squares.
