Lower Fat Chocolate Cake in a Mug

Ingredients:

  • 4 tbsp flour
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 3 tbsp milk
  • 2 tbsp cocoa
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp canola oil

Directions:

  1. 1. combine dry ingredients in a large microwave mug.
  2. 2. add egg and rest of wet ingredients. Mix in chocolate chips if using them.
  3. 3. Cook in microwave for 3 mins at max power. Or adjust accordingly. Allow to cool in mug for several minutes and serve.
  4. 4. Some additional topping ideas I have read are chocolate syrup, vanilla ice cream, berries, and whip cream. These would obviously add more calories, etc. I like it just plain and chocolaty.
