Ingredients:

  • 2-1/2 cups pancake mix
  • 1/2 cup(plus 3 tbsp) white sugar
  • 3 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Directions:

  1. Combine the pancake mix,3 tablespoons white sugar,brown sugar, and 3/4 teaspoon nutmeg.
  2. Add egg,milk and butter,mix well.
  3. Turn out on a lightly floured counter,knead gently for a few seconds.
  4. Roll out to 1/3 thickness,cut into 6x1/2 strips.
  5. Gently lift each strip,shape to form a loop,press together lightly where dough crosses.
  6. Fry in 375 degree oil for about 1 minute on each side.
  7. While warm,roll in mixture of remaining sugar,cinnamon and nutmeg.
