Loaded Banana Bread with Chocolate Chips

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup shortening
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 4 tbsp milk
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Directions:

  1. Cream shortening and sugar.
  2. Beat eggs and add to mixture.
  3. Crush bananas and add to mixture. Beat well.
  4. Add flour, salt and soda. Beat well.
  5. Beat in milk, lemon juice and vanilla.
  6. Stir in chocolate chips.
  7. Pour into 2 greased loaf pans. Bake at 350 degrees for one hour.
