  6. Add a dollop of whipped cream/Cool Whip.
  7. Sprinkle the top with lemon candies, cookies or lemon zest.
  8. Refrigerate and serve.
  9. -If you want to make a larger recipe for a trifle bowl, just double your ingredients. Since bowls come in so many sizes, you'll just have to use your own judgement as to how much you'll need for your bowl.-
  10. *Try mixing cream cheese in with your lemon curd for a creamier consistency.
  11. *Marscapone cheese also makes a great layer.
  12. If you like Limoncello, you can add a few drops over your cake cubes and drizzle a teaspoonful over the finally topping.
  13. Trifles are similar to icebox cakes without the refrigeration time that it takes to cure an icebox cake. You can turn your favorite icebox recipe into a trifle! Tiramisu recipes can also be used for more layering ideas for your trifle recipe.
  14. Parfaits are also like trifles EXCEPT parfaits have more layers of wet ingredients than do trifles. Add some cake or cookies to your favorite parfait recipe and you have a trifle.
