Lauch in Rahmasse (Leeks in Sour Cream)

Ingredients:

  • 8 large leeks
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 1/4 cup hot water
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 tbsp flour

Directions:

  1. Trim off tough ends and roots of leeks.
  2. Wash
  3. Cut into 3/4 inch slices.
  4. Melt butter and add leeks.
  5. Cook for 2 minutes and then add water, salt and half the accent.
  6. Cover and cook for ten minutes.
  7. Blend together sour cream, remaining accent, and cayenne pepper and add to leeks and cook 3 minutes stirring constantly.
