Ingredients:

  • 1 2/3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 cups nestle toll house milk chocolate chips
  • 1 cup flaked coconut, toasted if desired

Directions:

  1. Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt in a small bowl.
  2. Beat butter, both sugars and vanilla in large mixer bowl until creamy, Beat in egg. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in morsels, coconut and nuts. Drop by tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets.
  3. Bake in preheated 375F oven for 8-11 minutes or until edges are lightly browned. Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool completely,.
  4. NOTE: Nestle Toll House Semisweet Chocolate Morsels, Semisweet Chocolate Mini Morsels, Semisweet Chocolate-covered Raisins, Premier White Molrsels or Butterscotch Flavored Morsels may substituted for the Milk Chocolate Morsels.
