Grandma's Chocolate Cake

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup cocoa
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Directions:

  1. Cream the Sugar and Butter.
  2. Add eggs one at a time beating well after each until light and fluffy.
  3. Stir in cocoa and mik.
  4. Sift flour, salt and soda together and add to the mixture.
  5. Stir in vanilla.
  6. Slowly Add boiling water.
  7. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes in a 9x13 inch pan.
