Gooey Chocolate Cake

Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 tbsp cocoa
  • 1 cup nuts
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup cocoa
  • 1 1/4 cups boiling water

Directions:

  1. Cream sugar and butter put all ingredients in bowl mix with milk.
  2. Pour in 9 inch baking pan.
  3. Sprinkle with nuts.
  4. In bowl mix brown sugar and sugar and cocoa; mix well.
  5. Sprinkle on cake batter.
  6. Pour boiling water on top of cake.
  7. Bake about 40 minutes at 350°F.
