Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 425.
  2. Combine first 6 ingredients in a saucepan stir in pear slices.
  3. Bring to a boil on medium heat and boil for 1 minute.
  4. Add butter and pour into pie shell.
  5. For topping combine flour, brown sugar, and ginger in a bowl.
  6. Cut in butter until mixture becomes crumbly.
  7. Stir in pecans and sprinkle over pears.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes until topping is golden brown.
