Georgian Sweet Potatoes

Ingredients:

  • 4 large sweet potatoes (or yams)
  • 1/4 cup butter (1/2 stick)
  • 1/4 cup molasses
  • 1 tsp salt

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 F.
  2. Peel potatoes and boil until soft (35-40 minutes).
  3. Mash and add remaining ingredients.
  4. Beat well and place in a buttered casserole.
  5. Dot top with butter slices.
  6. Bake 35 minutes at 350F degrees (until brown).
