Ingredients:

  • 2 cups packed brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3 cups quick oats
  • 1 (12 oz) package milk chocolate chips
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°.
  2. Grease 10x15 jellyroll pan.
  3. In a large bowl, mix brown sugar, 1 c butter, 2 eggs, and 1 tsp vanilla.
  4. Stir in flor, baking soda, and 1/2 tsp salt.
  5. Stir in oats.
  6. Press oatmeal mixture into prepared pan.
  7. Melt chocolate chips with sweetened condensed milk and 2 Tbsp butter in saucepan over low heat, stirring until melted.
  8. Remove from heat and stir in nuts, 1 tsp vanilla and 1/2 tsp salt.
  9. Spread over oatmeal base.
  10. Bake until golden brown approximately 25-30 minutes.
  11. While warm, cut into bars.
